Can I kick her now? Now? How about now?

There's this chick I know and there are many things in her personality which I am not a fan of but I try really hard to be nice to her, despite my better judgment.

But, after tonight, we may be done.

We had a going away BBQ for our bishopric. One of my roommates was in charge, and asked me to sing a song that one of the members of the bishopric had asked me to sing months ago- you know, a last request of sorts. Now, let me be clear that I love to sing, and am always willing to do so, especially when it comes to church functions. However, I NEVER volunteer myself/beg/plead/request to be part of programs. In fact, sometimes it'd be nice to sit back and watch everybody else run around setting up sound equipment and making sure everything's all ready to go. Still, I happily started setting up the equipment for a few speakers lined up to speak, as well as another musical number in addition to mine.

The girl was standing right behind me and loudly and sarcastically said, "Oh, great, someone's singing again." It took pretty much everything in me not to whip her with a mic cord, but I restrained myself.

I'm angry but, more than anything, it hurts my feelings. I'm aware that not everyone has to like my music, but I was setting up equipment for more than just me, and singing for someone else, not to put the spotlight on myself.

Boo on her. Mean people are lame.
